BOARD VACANCY NOTICE

Due to the resignation of a member, a vacancy exists on the Auburn-Washburn Board of Education. The position will be filled by appointment of the Board. Applications are now being accepted for the position. The open position represents area 4A (generally the Wanamaker attendance area). Candidates must reside within area 4A. A map of the area is available at http://www.usd437.net/Board_of_Education/DistA.pdf. Applications must be received by Noon Thursday, May 15, 2008, in order for applicant to be considered as an official candidate. The Board will interview selected candidates on Monday, May 19, 2008, after the Board Meeting at Shuler Education Center (5928 SW 53^rd Street).
