Integrity Counts

For several years, parents, community representatives, and staff members in Auburn-Washburn have been involved in several aspects of developing a district-wide character education program. The program is named Integrity Counts.

Over 50 people were involved in identifying character traits they felt should be modeled and taught to our children and youth. Then, a community definition was written for each. A total of 8 traits were selected; respect, responsibility, honesty, compassion, citizenship, courage, fairness, and gratitude. The traits will be emphasized individually over time.
