What
is the Auburn-Washburn Public Schools Foundation and how did it form?
Early
In 1996, a group of parents from the 437 School
District began meeting to explore a common vision: to create
a non-profit organization to support educational programs In the 437
School District. This vision became reality with the incorporation of
the Auburn-Washburn Public Schools Foundation In October 1997.
What
is the purpose of the Foundation?
The
purpose of the foundation is to provide an alternative means to enhance,
enrich and expand educational programs for our district youth not otherwise
available through normal district funding. Our mission is to help ensure
that the highest quality educational experience is provided to the youth,
family, and patrons of our district.
What
is the makeup of the Foundation's Board of Directors?
