Wanamaker Road Closed March
through September
Wanamaker Road will be closed from March 3 through September 26, 2008. This will impact access to Jay Shideler Elementary School, Shuler Education Center, Washburn Rural Middle School, and Washburn Rural High School. Road Construction Projects
Several road construction projects are planned
for the Auburn-Washburn area over the next several years. These projects will
impact travel and access to our facilities. A map with scheduled construction
dates is included below.
Construction will also impact bus schedules
for some students. If your child's bus schedule will be changing the
Auburn-Washburn Transportation Department will notify you via a note well in
advance of the change. These changes should only be minor and times should
remain constant once the detour timing is established. Please remember -- the
Transportation Department suggests that students be at the bus stop 5 minutes
prior to the scheduled pick up.
